Script Frenzy has officially begun! All that plotting, planning, and character creating has paid off, and now you're off to get your scriptwriting groove on for 30 whole days.
I've already received a few emails asking how to create a PDF and upload a script to our robot page-count validator, so I thought I'd post instructions on how to do both here:
How to Create a PDF
1. If you are using Celtx: Sign into your account and select your script's file. Then select the "TypeSet" subtab found below your script. Then hit "Save PDF."
Note: you must be signed in to generate a PDF.
2. If you are using Zhura: Go to "File," then select "Download as PDF."
3. If you are using Scripped: Go to "My Scripts," and select "Export PDF."
4. If you are using Word or Open Office: If you have Adobe Acrobat on your computer, you can go to "Print" your script and choose "PDF" as the printer. You can also create a PDF in Adobe Professional by going to Create PDF > from file > choose your script.
If you do not have Adobe Acrobat you can use the following free programs online:
http://www.freepdfconvert.com
and http://www.zamzar.com.
How to Upload Your Script
Once you save your script as a PDF, visit "My Script Frenzy," select "Edit Writer Info" on the side menu, hit the "Browse" button next to the validator. A box will pop up so you can select the PDF file for your script. Once you find it, select "Open," then select "Validate." The final step is to scroll down and hit the "Update" button.
Happy day one,
Tavia
